Malevolent Creation (MC) : DOOMSDAY X

On: Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Malevolent Creation (MC) is back with full album after they just realase the compilation and the music live. I think the album is so choice, please check the power of guitar by riff MC that very heavy and so the solo of guitar..........., ampuuunnn very brutalism. Basic of song is very nice , why ya litle slow with the song opened the hell with begin slow riff with full expresion than with speed beat and heavy. suitable with speed of tempo with the drum so speedt. 'Culture of Doubt' came soon with blast beat dan speed riff ! Solo guitar in the song is very cool, touching the heart. the voice of vocalist Bret Hoffmann very cool; voice of devil , cannot comparing with her!. Track List:01. Cauterized02. Culture Of Doubt03. Deliver My Enemy04. Archaic05. Buried In A Nameless Grave06. Dawn Of Defeat07. Prelude To Doomsday08. Upon Their Cross09. Strength In Numbers10. Hollowed11. Unleash Hell12. Bio-Terror .Malevolent Creation fans had something to rejoice about with the release of 2007's "Doomsday X", not only was Brett Hoffmann back on vocals, Jon Rubin stepped in to do secondary guitar work, Jason Blachowicz returned on bass and Dave Culross stuck around to do the drums. MC has had more lineup changes than Spinal Tap (no joke), so it is always nice when they do these "return to form" albums like what happened with "Envenomed". From the first note of the first song, the listener notices top notch production that gives MC an even punchier sound. The reason Brett Hoffmann is liked by so many Death Metal fans is his perfectly intelligible, raspy, yet powerful vocals. In the early 90s the trend with death/grind vocalists was to be as guttural and incomprehensible as possible. Hoffmann bucked t
he trend and went in the other direction. Culross sounds more inspired than ever (or at least since "Eternal") refusing to blend in the background and blast the time away. The guitar work is much more inventive than the prior few efforts.
